Autosime, as I previously said I am conservative and not a gambler. I am a self funded retiree and so cash is king and risks are not to be taken lightly.

I read the Prospectus, Investor Presentation in detail and prepared a 4 page analysis as well as 3 pages of questions covering rationalisation of assets/business, organic growth, reduction in overheads, Savings in salaries, Contracts/tenders/margins, CEO position, USA business, Europe, Asia & middle East, ROV business, vendor agreements, employees, institutional investors, competitors, Ernst & Young investingation report, PwC report and role, Past performance and future projections.

I didn't have to ask all the questions as a lot were covered by other attendees but at the end of the day I had ticked off nearly all of them.

The next step was the most difficult and that is deciding how this opportunity stacked up against others and then making a decision on the way to go and as I have stated the chance to eye-ball the management team, study the body language and listen to what they had to say and how they handled the questions was worth more than all the work I out into the analysis. If you attended any of the presentations you would know what I am talking about.

In the end it still boils down to backing your judgement and I have been wrong in the past and will probably make mistakes in the future even though I do a lot of research and detailed financial analysis sometimes it doesn't work out the way I think but as I read this one I believe it offers good upside opportunity.
