Trump may be waking up to the reality that an "Assad asset" in his Cabinet is also a "Mad Mullah" asset.
Trump could be damned politically if he bunker busts certain nuclear facilities (Iran will be removing the contents as I type) and damned by history if a nuclear exchange happens at some time because he doesn't.
Leaving the job half done is like leaving it half pregnant. It doesn't make sense except to a MAGA base that understands nothing about anything. This is where the worship of blinding ignorance can lead.
My suspicion is that Trump won't chicken out this time. Where this leads is anyone's guess.
