@noodly
I have to say I like his unapologetic self introduction but other then that I think it’s a worthwhile video for anyone who has the slightest interest in understanding the conflicts between Israel, Iran and its proxies
it is difficult to comprehend a mindset such as he describes because the western world has moved way past the martyr mindset and it appears our distaste for war has translated into assuming that anyone who engages in defence must automatically be a baddie if they kill people
yet while judging Israel they have utterly failed to understand that for those associated with this form of Islamic fundamentalist jihad is part of life and death really doesn’t matter nor does sacrificing their own for Allah. Domination through death is part of their cult practice
I sort of get it I think thanks to some life experiences where I saw how an ability to act in ways that seem, on the surface, to be entirely contradictory and a self deceptive self absorption and sense of entitlement meant they would sacrifice everything to maintain power because there was a self interested purpose. Not exactly the same but close enough to be able to draw a parallel. There is nothing rational about these behaviours
