I know it is not politically correct to say this. I must stress that I am not a racist.
Being of Indian ethnicity, Dr Vijay Kumar has the advantage to be promoted by another Indian, Dr Prasad. Just look at previous CEOs of Boeing , and old 'X' and other big corporations. They may feel better to work with people they know and thinking in the similar way.
May be MSB should appoint a director of Indian ethnicity to have better communication with the new team in FDA ??
