Personally I think the Quickstep process may be a dud. They have been promoting it for years now - if it was so revolutionary and cost effective surely one of the bigger players would have taken up the technology by now.

The move to Sydney also seems like a tremendous waste of money to me. I know that they are getting financial assistance from the NSW government but I read somewhere that they are putting $15 million of their own money towards the relocation. Why spend all this money when they have none coming in (apart from shareholder capital)? Wouldnt it be much better to actually start producing parts (no matter how small the contract) and building a name for themselves rather then simply aiming to be the biggest composites producer with no track record?

Hopefully Quyickstep will prove me wrong...but I have my doubts.
