    I think it fits into a model (wykoff theory) which relies on some specific price behaviours. Maybe others think that too, maybe some people see the prior major low and want to pick the bottom, maybe price has swept all stops and found some large orders, maybe some RSI or Bollinger-band strategies are getting triggered.. impossible to know but I'd suggest it's a combination of numerous decisions. What matters is demand is out-stripping supply and there is an opportunity (for me) in this short term inefficiency.

    Markets are a random environment but you can operate in that noise. The answer therefore is yes I think.

    Big picture it gets harder to predict from these smaller time frames that I am highlighting. However, I think (using stage analysis) that there are signs of accumulation and distribution in an effort to find a point of control. Mark ups follow but we're talking months, if not years.
