I've long held high hopes for this Fortescue/Sparc/University of Adelaide project which takes significant strides forward in overcoming the first hurdle.....high electricity costs. Now for effective strorage, piping, transportation and creating demand......"build it and they will come"?

I believe referring to photocatalytic hydrogen as, in the article, as 'Green hydrogen' is incorrect. To avoid confusion a hydrogen colour code has been created..... my understanding is the correct colour nomenclature is as follows...

1. GREEN hydrogen produced using renewable energy
2. Photocatalytic hydrogen is YELLOW hydrogen
3. Mined hydrogen is WHITE hydrogen
4. The high carbon emitting, and therefore, irrelevant hydrogens are grey (gas) black(black coal), brown ( brown coal) etc

This is not an exercise in pedantry.....for effective communication it's essential to correctly identify the specific type of hydrogen being referred to.

Yellow , if it comes to fruition, has enormous potential in the efficacy department.
