when the newly formed country emerged as the victor the United Nations then passed a resolution that effectively countermanded the creation of is Jewish state by creating the right of return. While the resolution included a clause - “to those who live to live in peace with their neighbour” this would have had the effect of swamping the Jewish state with Moslems. No such right of return was granted to Moslems moved from India to the new stare of Pakistan or Hindus in the reverse direction

the world has never stopped interfering in Israeli affairs in a way that has subjected it to constant threat

I think it reasonable to assume that the world has secretly hoped that Jews would disappear and that there was a hope that in that first war the Jewish state would be destroyed and Hitlers work completed

In the context of your post it is easy ( for me anyway) to understand the emphatic defense that the Jews have for their land, as it is the last bit of land that will ever be given to them
And with that land is also their actual existence a a race of people

But it appears that their so called friends and their enemies do not understand this

With the Ukraine, either side can call a halt with the knowledge that they can have a halt where regardless of the agreement (to halt) they both know that they can start hostilities again at any time, not so Israel

IMHO Israel should take a lot more land, redraw the boundaries and make themselves truly independent of their Arab neighbours
Everyone hates them now so they have nothing to lose

They would then have a larger population, easier to defend and much stronger as a result, regardless of right and wrong power is what keeps you safe

I am not Jewish and do not have any Jewish connections but I see parallels between Israel and Australia, in that we should be looking after ourselves and to hell with the Big World Government plans
