With 21,000 delegates attending BIO in Boston, it's a whirlwind of partnership deals, M&A activity, collaboration agreements etc. The partnership meetings are set up like speed dating - every half hour you pitch (face-to-face) to another company that's scheduled that time slot for you - it's full on. There's also 'inner circle' meetings where big pharma are looking for the next billion dollar deal. To present at these conventions can be valuable, as the audience can contain big pharma with deep pockets. For RAC, ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) is a good choice too as the big players are there also. Looking forward to RAC having more positive data to present at such events!
