i think al qaeda is long gone

its now used as a label to stereo type radical muslims

al qaeda existed along side / were paid off by corrupt despots but the big message from the people of the middle east is that neither are any longer tolerated in their communities.

Former members will exist of course but they will be closely tied to some radical political parties that try their best to be relevent to newly born democracies.
