For those who have followed AMP since its darkest days have not been dissapointed..I'm over $350K up since 05/03 on the AMP/HHG double and currently am still holding 20KAMP/40K HHG.
DO NOT SELL OUT ON THE DIPS this morning..if anything buy as the smart ones are doing...The market wanted all the money now and is dissapointed 28c + 40c cap return!!! Dont worry about that... in fact the bottom line was 8% above expectation and Andrew used the smaller than expected div as a counterbalance. See,,you dont want the share price to run to hard too fast..especially if you want a preditor to take its first bite. Mohl is playing the market at its own game...
the divs/capital return by the time the interim payment is made (10/05) will be something like this:-
*14c final div (04/05)
*40c cap return (06/05)
*~17c interim div (10/05)
* ~14c special div (return HHG buyback ~8-10/05)
Total of ~85c over the next 6-8 months
