CAB processing detailed mining plan. Zoning of Forrestry to Mining. End date not known but cannot be appealed
70 Mil Euro grant drawn in milestone payments to commence upon Refinery finance in place.
Prospective Project Partners recently on site and in deep discussions.
Still persuing additional State Aid
FID expected later this year.
Refinery construction early 26 but project team looking at fast tracking for earlier production start with modules added to EVA plant then transitioned.
Offtake delays due to tarrif pricing concerns. Prospective clients providing Letters of Support which Bankers accepting in funding assessments in lieu of binding offtakes
Within 2 years battery storage demand to exceed EV's before trend reversal at end of decade
Significant rise in Commercial opportunities. Talks with Volvo @ Scania
Commercial tend to be smaller volume but stickier clients..not so price orientated..Premium pricing.
Defence opportunities have recently been to the fore and meetings with Euro defence companies
Priority is Project and overall funding with FID to follow
MT as positive as ever. Let's hope Talga can deliver on the optimism evident shown at the meeting
