At WES this is how it works,
(This is what I know, I can be wrong little bit but not much)
Each Manager can Salary Sacrifice around $10K worth shares each six months salary and get shares at a discounted rate.
Each employee can salary Sacrifice up to 10% of their salary (I may be wrong about %) and get salary sacrifice shares at discount rate.
One can;t sell those shares for 12 months.
It keep Wage Down at the expense of number of issued capital(Shares), hence EPS suffers but revenue goes up.
