Thanks P5 for the information. If what you stated applies to most of the investors, then IMHO, the BEN loan portfolio should have the same value as the loans sold by the liquidators.
My interest in this debacle was to evaluate whether BEN should allow a greater bad debt provision for these loans.
I can see that it is a lot more complicated and riskier then what BEN like their shareholders to think!
IMHO this is more complicated than the ANZ loan debacle.
Anyway, good luck to Great Southern investors and I hope it will turn out right for you.
