It is very easy to devise,propogate and relay stories on matters financial.Figures can be easily manipulated to support the story,and it is extremely difficult to dis-prove them.That's why such stories continually get reported; makes interesting reading and good debate.

However,unless the author has had years of experience working in his/her field and has peer approval/respect and can back up their claims/stories with factual information,properly referenced,then for my money,I choose to ignore them.
