AUZ was suspended on 30/9/2008 and relisted on 12/8/2009, so nearly a year.

OZL had a fairly lengthy suspension while the recapitalised.

Then their would be heaps that never relist. Half the Babcock and Brown satelites entered lenghty suspensions at one point or another. Some never came out of.

But almost all suspensions of that nature are for funding and debt issues. Major recapitalisations. NKP is a different scenario. Not many I can think of that go into suspension for 'uncertainty'.

I've seen a few days for uncertainty relating to media speculation.

Probably the most similar case is GGG. The entered suspension after media reports claimed mining Uranium in Greenland would never happen.

GGG entered suspension, their was some positive 'clarification' on the zero tolerance stance, and the company has risen from below 60c pre suspension to over $1.20 today.

The suspension lasted about 6weeks from memory, and the shareprice has doubled in the last 6months.

Very similar in what NKP are hoping to do. Stay in suspension, avoid the declining shareprice. Seek clarification and relist hopefully higher or atleast at same level.
