Can someone please explain why "Patient rebate" is a cost to the revenue please? It is part of the Gross-to-Net equation. I can't make sense of it.
Who is rebating who here? BOT rebates money to the patient somehow?
When a patient buys this drug, they get some cashback at the point of purchase? That doesn't make sense...
Or is it an upfront discount offered to every patient for perpetuity? That doesn't make sense either (if it's a permanent upfront discount, then it's just a permanently lower RRP).
