I can't help but soak up the measured determination expressed in Cougar's ASX release today. Few but powerful words imo.

If/when proceedings are launched and they are multi-party we can be sure Cougar has restoration of project and compensation clearly in their sights.

I just can't help feeling that deliberate misrepresentation of facts by any party that leads to losses for another is likely to subject to compensation under law if proven. Imo, tens of millions of dollars are at stake.

If reasonable enquiries could have proven the contrary or at least cast doubt on emphatic, vocal and damaging claims by any party then that party is exposed imo.

It is clear imo that individuals, corporates, regulators, politicians, media outlets, community groups and their leaders just couldn't stick the knife in far enough and twist it violently enough for their own agendas and satisfaction.
