Shares were issued back in March and April. In order to avoid lodging a full form prospectus, the company can issue a cleansing notice that effectively allows those shares to be traded. It’s a compliance requirement.
Our new CFO and CoSec, Lisa, failed to issue the notice within 5 days so now we need the Supreme Court to provide us with an exemption. It’s pretty standard stuff and while annoying, it’s not that uncommon.
The hearing is set for 17th July. Until then and until a judgement is made, trading is suspended. Also, as a result of the suspension, the order book is cleared (also very standard) which is why you’ll notice the buy and sell orders have been purged.
