Yes, MNM has a huge distance to go before production and for massive share price gains, but in my opinion, we are a long way off a $10 share price, not so long for the $1 share price...
You are also correct, todays announcement was not a company making announcemnet, but you are incorrect when you say the next one won't be...
The next one WILL be a company making announcement if the lab results confirm the best results, because all the points you make in your 'points to consider' all comes down to a successful product...

Yes there is no customers yet, because as you say, the product is unproven... But once we get the lab results, the product will be proven, and customers will have to take notice of this breakthrough technology. Customers will be able to source coal that has almost identicle properties to the best quality black coal for a cheaper price
There is no infrastructure nor large scale processing in place.(see next point)
Why would they put in infrastructure or a large scale processing when the product is unproven to date... This will come after lab results proves the technology...
There will be more dilution.(see last point)
Yes there will be dilution, but only after the product is proven and a higher share price follows, hence, dilution at a higher share price... All companies wishing to be in production have to have some sort of capital raising...
Production is slated for 2014.
Who cares when production starts, as long as we tick all the right boxes leading up to production, the share price will gain on hype alone, as did fortescue metals did, 50c - $100 before they sold any ore...
As you can see, all your points are valid, but they are all answered from the same answer, and that is when the product is proven, and this will be after we get lab results, hence the next announcement will be 'company making', as you call it...
