Jevalent- I can confirm your costs of $20 per girl (cow) are conservative.(thats the cost of treatment) But Add in the cost of lost milk production and a cost of $50 per effected cow is in line with industry experience.

And yet there are so many more positives for the industry. A mastitus free herd means Dairy farmers need a smaller herd to produce the same output of milk. Less costs/ same revenue/increased bottom line.

As for developing countries - the benefits are even greater for both farmers and the populace. Public health and nutrition for the masses is impacted by poor dairy practices and quality of milk produced. This breakthru could mean much for the third world.

Todays left of field annc just shows the diverse potential of TPM as a delivery platform.

I wont be selling any more cows to fund POH share purchases- but I can tell you I have some very nervous LLamas this morning.
