Wrong .. Germany went from slave to France etc for WW1 war reparations with mass unemployment to a economic powerhouse with labour shortages by 1938, the army general staff went along with this due to the mass military investment the state was giving them, along with the never ending anger and lost pride among the army of having to lay down their arms to France etc in the 1918 armistice. No one in history has come from nothing, gained so much and then returned to nothing, as Hitler did. Also most peoples view of Hilter is they find in English, Russian, US war books.. but reading the memoirs of the German Field Marshals will give you a different insight to this man, yes he was a war lord and committed many bad deeds, but he was no fake. In fact a SS adjutant who had regular contact with Hitler late in the war, wrote something like, "it was the fact that Hilter retreated to his bunkers late in the war not because he refused to see the damage of allied bombing but due to his soft heart towards is troops, he hated seeing them suffer"... another lost fact is that in front of a group of generals he spoke with command and energy, but one on one he was nothing like that. Hitler was bad, but Stalin was by far the more evil. Although in the end Hitler took Germany into the abyss, pre war to say Hitler did nothing good for Germany is totally wrong and shows a complete lack of knowledge, the same lack of knowledge that left wing political parties like the Greens and Labour exploit to their advantage. Like left wing fools like Jane Fonda visiting North Vietnam and fools who still believe Iraq was a "war for oil".. that Federal Labours change to the border protection laws hasn't encouraged large numbers of boats to head for Australian navy ships and a free ride for these boats economic money grabbing passengers to CentreLink and fools who think a burqa wearing lady is representative of Australians youth ? it would be funny if it wasn't true .. who elected her ? no one has answered that question ???
