This mine up in Tibet was recently closed for environmental reasons and in media is given as the reason as to why Li prices are rising, but will not be sustained.
Something is not quite right.
Carbonate/Li prices were rising before closure.
Interesting to see in June they were quoting 50,000 tonnes carbonate output per annum.
Now recent reports have carbonate production at 10,000 tonnes per annum.
A big difference.
A 50,000 tonnes of carbonate per annum drop is significant.
