I don't mean first time being hoppered - I mean first time being shafted by a vulture fund.
Have a look at Bluesky Alternative Investments for a recent example. They issued con notes to Oaktree, a predatory fund based in the US that took them to the cleaners. The worst part? The top brass at Blueksy ended up at Oaktree - retail were fleeced of the only assets worth anything and they are currently pursuing a class action against the former directors.
Have a go at this - not even 12 months prior... Ringing any bells?
