JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) − Gold-miner Harmony Gold on Wednesday said that the latest drilling results at its Wafi-Golpu project in Papua New Guinea had provided the highest mineralisation values to date.
The company had previously reported mineralisation beyond the porphyry copper/gold resource of 16-million ounces of gold and 4,8-million tons of copper, but said that its latest results were even better.
This supported Harmony?s initial exploration target of 30-million ounces of gold and eight-million tons of copper.
CEO Graham Briggs said that drilling at the project continued to be successful and that results confirmed the potential of the discovery.
NCM at $1400 gold remains significantly undervalued , unless of course gold returns to $1000 which I don't see happening any time soon.
