Ann: Newcrest Market Update , page-4

I've always thought the long term story for NCM was very good and this announcement is additional confirmation.

For example analyst report from Craigs Investment Partners (ex ABN Amro) has estimate of net debt of -$,1683m in 2012 and -$4,869m in 2013 - negative numbers folks!!

Yeah, I know you need to take these reports with a grain of salt, but chances are that NCM will be assessing options for use of excess cash within a few years. I guess the possibilities include acquisitions, share buy back etc.

Any thoughts or info out there on long term prospects and options?
