Depends. They may have been playing with Derivatives like JANE Street example in India or may have traded out correctly and just buying back at the new lower entry point?

ASIC is the only one whom may or may not know or care???

They have just one I can see and that's only about 'short reporting' not for the Markt Manipulation many of us assume is occurring!

Does ASIC have the capacity to do the job is another question? The ATO stuff up fraud of about 2 billion reported recently doesn't give much confidence that Federal Government bodies including ASIC have the ability to do the roles they are supposed to do.

ASIC prosecution for short selling
