Regarding your "viewing numbers" each time a person looks at the "whole thread" every post in that thread receives +1 extra view, but if they view "post thread/individual post" only that post receives an extra +1 view.
Now what i'm getting at is, you might have a post with 1900 views but only 500people might have seen it cause out of those 500people 90% (450people) might have re-read the the whole thread supposedly 4 times(+1800 views made only by 450people) as they are seeing what others have replied to theirs or anyone elses posts. Where as the other 50 people (10%remaining) only viewed it twice (+100 views) (1800+100=1900)
The best way to have it would be to have a stat like...
Views: 1868 Veiwers : 544
To then you would know 544 individuals have viewed this thread in some point or another.
