Misty, I agree. Australia should aim to be a high wage country with people in great demand as employees.
Having an endless supply of immigrants means that people will always be in over supply and wages low. A shortage of skilled workers should lead to higher wages so people train for those jobs, not that we should fill the gap by importing more.
I can see why business owners and property developers want endless immigration. More curious is why Labor wants a Big Australia.
