No I don't think I am missing the point. I have been around for a long time and have seen many "magic bullet" cures being touted for different diseases. These "cures" have to be properly researched and need lots of experimental studies before acceptance. The point in the website saying it is non-therapeutic fits with my experience. Because it stimulates the immune system it will be useful, but antibiotics or culling are going to be the main attack for clinical mastitis. Most important is the mechanical setup and statistical significance of the trials which have been posted as mere quotes of the main summary and I see many such marketing points for different medical ideas. Trial design is important to generate significant results and these must be repeated lots of times before being widely accepted. I originally came into this discussion because of my cattle interests and the dreaming figures being quoted which I picked on as not being that realistic. Mastitis is complex and dairy farmers are a difficult market.
