well at least NG gave a detailed explanation of the problems with out trying to make excuses like some operators will do.
I wonder if they used a reciprocating plate feeder on the surge hopper if that would reduce some of the conveyer problems.
The Impact crusher producing sharp material causing the screens to be damaged seems a bigger problem to fix, maybe urethane coated screens would help.
The sulphides issue seems a red herring in a way as it will only apply to the lower grade halo ore IMHO. THe gold in quartz appears to perform as it has done over the many milleniums of processing gold being free milling IMHO and am not a metallurgist.
