Hi Briter,

I've puzzled and pondered over what has been and is being done to America's (and therefore the world's) economy for some time now ----- and I inevitably get drawn towards some very vague idea of some sort of 'conspiracy'.

As I see it, the American/world's economy is being/has been set up for an absolute massive disruption.

I simply cannot believe that the cream of US administration's intelligensia - both democratic (clinton) and republican (bush) - is completely unaware of the inevitable results of what they've been doing, and so I have to deduce they're acting to some grander plan.

A year or two ago, whilst in the grip of the grape, I posted on this forum some ramblings about the ascent of the power structure over history from the individual - to group - to clan - to tribe - to town - to city/state - to nation .... postulating that the next step might well be a further move (up) from nation to 'a group'.

Perhaps 'a group' is the driver of the current 'play' with the world's economy. American administrations involved from both sides can surely not be stupid.

But then again, just my thoughts, which are important only to me ----- but I have purchased gold and silver!
