Yeah I think the UK are still sharpening their pencils and buying new erasers to figure out how deep their financial rabbit hole really got to during the GFC..
It really was a mess for the big economies and restoration back to some kind of normal economic status quo is still probably going to give the UK tabloids a bit of post GFC fodder for the front pages.. World wide the smaller economies that weren't tangled so heavily in the GFC paperwork seem to be gaining recovery ground at a better rate than those heavies...

Australian economics and market activity seems quite confident at the moment so personally I believe that MDV should also be utilizing mainstream media in australia to promote the MDV story... The story in the Australian April last year seemed to attract allot of local investing attention, seemingly allot of mum n dad and joe bow investors who read the papers, asked a few questions and decided there and then to invest for the R&D turn around or not was evident in the volume that week. I have mentioned it to Paul to invite the journalist who wrote the April story to do a follow up story. My guess is that we'll see some kind of follow up story after the turn around.. I see that kind of thing often enough. You know, you read a story about an up and comer and then a year or so down the track a story that the company has done its amazing thing and stabilized so the multibagger opportunity slips by. Sometimes I scratch my head wondering why I never followed up on those original stories.

Anyway, can't wait for it to all happen so I can get back to the good old one liner ramps.... :) "she's goin off"...
