If it's an insto investment and any of them are Merryl Lynch clients (or if Merryl Lynch is underwriting it) I'm crying foul.

SBL has been being capped since BOA entered, and if this CR was known to be coming by someone with enough shares to manipulate the SP, it'd make a whole lot of sense why (to keep the price low for CR issue price).

They can't have made a significant further gold discovery without releasing it to market so that doesn't seem like it's the reason. Also Bill's continuously intimated they're a 'gold exploration company' so it seems highly unlikely the cap raising is for a second plant. Mind you he's also said the cash for exploration would come from production so who knows what to believe.

While we won't know until the announcement, a CEO misleading the market is a pretty serious deal, so I just hope he's acting in shareholders best interest.

I'm still a strong believer in the upside of this one but this ann is a little stinky for mine.

Personally I'm just praying it's Anglogold or someone else wanting a major stake... Fingers crossed for that one.
