    I read this just now from the Swan as kite-flying;

    Acting Prime Minister Wayne Swan has left the door open for a taxpayer-funded advertising campaign to explain his government's carbon tax policy.
    Mr Swan told reporters in Brisbane on Wednesday the best course of action was to get a community consensus by arguing the case for economic reform.

    "I'm not going to be in the business of ruling anything in or out, " Mr Swan said.
    "We haven't taken any decisions in this area."

    I would respectfully suggest that this is a test to see if any tomatoes come flying his way.

    I think that if the Government decides to use public money to sell the carbon tax, they will be summarily and unceremoniously dumped forthwith. The public will not stand for it.

    Consumer sentiment today officially hit a nine month low, - not a good environment to sell anything by the Treasurer.
