I guess the logical question that needs to be asked is what Eurogolds intention is; buyout?
Having said that they can afford to continue to push down the price to their advantage, even though fair value would suggest DRA is valued at more than its current price.
I could understand Eurogold buying parcels incrementally, but the constant small grabs show a willingness to amass at the panic sellers expense. They appear to be working on slow and steady does it, and eventually the price will be sub $1.00 at this rate...I hate to say it, but I think we can uncomfortably see this happening unless something drastic pushes the price back up.
But then of course, we have EG who can then push it down again, even on a intra day level. Today per say was such a good example- looking really promising post ann, only to lose momentum and then be brought down.
this then raises the next question - DRAs rumored/documented possible buyback of shares? What would the trigger for such a move be, if any?
Or, alternatively, they are comfortable with EGs position, and a willing recipient of whatever the plan is, at the expensive of holders.
Is there something else in the pipeline...unfortunately I like many can't read between the lines of their reports, but if there is something else there, does anyone else have any ideas?
I'm just thinking out loud, and like many others am frustrated at the lack of movement.
All the announcements released have been positive post consolidation, the gold price has been good, we are running financially well on the books...what can't we see that others can?
The consolidation would have been structured to take advantage of the positives, using it as a means of propelling value.
