Who was responsible for the GFC .
The ones that borrowed money to build a dream beyond their means or ,the banks that dangled the carrot infront of them ? Or, is there somebody else responsible?
The boomers may have few dollars in their hands to invest ,while the young ones are strugling to put a deposit together on their first house.
The boomers need some income as the pension age is getting away from them .
The SMSF cannot be used to fund own childrens house .Butit is ok to rent it to someone else.
More costs and trouble for the boomers. Something does not add up.
Is there such a thing as a regulator,or a govenmental body to oversee these things to look at the core of the problem .
Each time the gov gives out a grant to help the first home buyer,the price of the real estate rises by same amount or more.
The reason for the increase of our homes is the land shortage and not so much the cost to build.
Don t get hot under the colar .Who shall we blame ?
I know, it s the global warming ! And carbon tax is the answer right ?
