I think what mak is saying if that husbandry is the key to keeping away these problems, and most are not doing that, then why don't they just simply do it. Correct me if im wrong mak.
The answer - i say is that humans are inherently lazy and choose to take the easy option, hence why if you are given the options a "potion" over hard work, most people will take the potion.
