Put simply, there's massive pain here for our entire nation, pain which increases every year, for negligible to no gain.
The Labor/Green Coalition has practically given up marketing their carbon dioxide tax on environmental grounds because they don't have a leg to stand on - and is now trying to get us to believe the nonsense that a carbon dioxide tax is good for the economy and will create jobs.
What an absolute load of rubbish. Anyone with the slightest understanding of economics will know the exact opposite will be the case.
We have possibly the worst Labor Government this country has ever known being controlled by its now official Coalition partner, the Greens - a Party of impractical idealists living in La La Land who don't understand or want to know the first thing about modern day capitalism.
The Greens would be quite happy if we all abandoned cars, went back to horse and buggy, lived in wooden huts and tents and developed cottage industries. That's how out of touch with the 21st. century they are.
