to me, your kids are on the money because it sounds like you struggle to manage money and put it into perspective
many folks seek to accumulate as much $ as possible. this is not putting money into perspective
despite this, at least many of these folks can manage their unnecessary amounts of money
but you are unable to do either
so, as I suggested, i reckon your kids are on the money
