    I don't believe thats right Mihal. It was just JB spin about 100pc economic interest. Masawa owns 26% of Continental Coal SA which owns most the assets. Its just that the Australian listed entity, which owns the other 74%, has to pay all the development costs. Masawa will forgo dividends until their share of devolopment costs is recouped. As an exagerated example if Contintal Coal SA suddenly came into a windfall $1b profit, due to selling Botswanna, 26% of that would be Masawas of course. If the cash was to be paid out, Masawa would get their 26pc share less their share of development cost incurred so far. I admit I don't understand the cash payments to BEE partners, when no other shareholders are getting any cash. But I'm not surprised, lots of people getting paid stuff !
