    Agree Moondoong. The right are more of a silent majority who dislike confrontation and that would include street protests. The left, being largely unionists, are more used to street protests.

    The right will have their say on polls and on election day, and clearly, they are showing that they are not happy with the carbon tax and angry at the Gillard/Swan outright deception to the people.

    And, I wonder, just how many of those 8,000 who turned up in favour of the tax are on centrelink benefits or on a very low pay? My guess is that very little of them will be affected by the tax (or think they won't be!).

    The silent majority will move with force when it counts - at the next election...:)
