My trading account is with Amscot Runitup, although i have back up accounts too.

Cheapest is not neccessarily best. Some brokers scale up their fees above a dollar amount so you need to work out the frequency and size of your trades and weigh up which broker suits you best.

I use Amscot because of customer service, brokerage fees, money in cash account, platform stability, execution of trades, filter parameters, iress.

How many trades per year do you make? How much would you save in brokerage fees by switching? How much would a missed trade cost? What would it cost if you couldn't access your account on a crash day scenario? How many trades do you miss per week/month when your order gets sent to a DTR? Just a few things to ponder if you're a regular trader imo.

Probably worth keeping your account if you're happy with it and maybe trialing other brokers at the same time.
