The most important question asked, (which was accompanied by a big applause), was, after taxing the big "polluters", how was compensating the people to help pay for the carbon tax that would be included in the cost of goods, etc. change anything ?

Julia gillard answered in a round about way, that, people would then use their extra money to purchase products from the cheaper, low energy, less polluting co.s (products) ??????

Who are they, what are they, where are they ????

No one commented or questioned this, because I think they may have been as stunned as I was, .... talk about BS baffles brains.

I think that if she cannot adequately explain this to the public in a way that makes sense, Labor are heading and leading us into more and more of a bureaucratic and economic quagmire, that will not be helping us stay near the forefront of being environmentally responsible.
