Thank you for such an excellent post.
As a non-geologist I qualify my quetion.
However, As the 'cover' at C is so deep and the existing drill results continue to a much greater depth; is there a case for immediately putting in a narrow decline to the top of the known ore body. This is to allow placing disassembled drilling equipment into a chamber on top of the existing ore body.
This question assumes that the site is unsuitable for an open pit; due to the depth of 'cover'.
I also assume that the underground drilling site will allow near horizontal access to about 1 km in radius. The underground drilling site may also speed the movement from inferred to indicated to measured and JORC.
The risk is that larger deposits are not near the narrow decline. But this may be ameliorated by immediate deep drilling at 300 m radius from the existing deep resource holes.
Once again this is as a non geoloogist: but with such deep cover this approach may 'speed things along'. Thanks again for your previous post. HC42
