You mention a good opportunity to buy and people criticise you for not buying into fear/misery.

You mention a good opportunity to sell and people criticise you for not buying into hype/orgasm.

Nothing I said in my original post implies a lack of sympathy for the Japanese (I have friend's over there affected for heaven's sake) AND I recently donated money to an appeal for New Zealand's quake, the QLD floods, among other causes this year to help out my fellow man. (Is that better?)

I do not forget that this money I can afford to donate is a result of me taking advantage of opportunities when everyone else was shouting "doom and gloom". So let's drop the political correctness and get on with investing; isn't this why we are here?
