This is surreal & dajavu back to 19th April 2010 when all off shore oilers were rerated by risk analysts as BP's bottom line was tested along with transoceans & haliburtons. I refer to Gulf of Mexico New Horizon explosion when a very deep well drilled through a methane bubble(frozen). A very new phenomena.
Risk reratings occur & sometimes I just don't see connections. Such is limitations of human rationality.
Japan's earthquake, tsunami & nuclear security incident will pan out unpredicatably just like my AWE shares in the face of Gulf of mexico catastrophe. I just didn't see it happen till I checked the charts with 20 20 hindsight 6 months latter after losing 1/3 of my monies. However this time the whole world is more affected.
DG please do not let anyone deter you from commenting as sometimes charts sum up all market sentiment even though fallible humans do not comprehend what is going on around them.
Awesome effort DG. Your interpretations are most instructive and balance & compliment the diverse views expressed in MNC threads.
