Holding BLR - I have been buying with my ears pinned back, especially since Obama went to national TV on his nuclear energy stance

Logically the Americans will not see the Japanese experience as a Nuclear problem. Rather they will focus on not building reactors in earthquake prone areas, and certainly never site them where oceans can knock them out of action.

As smart as they are with plant construction, the Japanese disaster was in reality a time bomb in waiting, and this should not be confused with the worth of nuclear generated power, which by and large is pretty safe. Given that France generates more than 80% of their needs, and has been doing so for many decades. It's just that they avoid siting the plants in bad news geo zones.

The latest China news suggests they are now on a re-think about where their own plants will be sited, and this does not include programming for one iota of reduced capacity.

Meanwhile the stock market is acting like a chook with it's head cut off.
