Hi Tony,
Just a quick question regarding your mining lease in Sierra Leone. I have seen in recent press that Sierra Leone intend of renegotiating mining leases that have been signed.
This is worrying as there is already high perceived political risk in these countries. Do you expect the renegotiation of leases to affect CFE substantially? Also will this deter buyers as there is unknown political risk (not that there wasn't any already?
Thanks in advance,
I will be posting your reply on hotcopper.com.au so your shareholders can also see the response.
Tonys Response
No problem what so ever..
Look at African Minerals (listed on AIM)!! 3 years ago was the their initial discovery, they will be exporting later this year. That is unheard of in any other country, in 3 years discovery to export.
CFE?s Marampa deposit will not be far behind and the Govt is 100% behind us.
The difficulties are with those companies that warehouse the tenements, both African Minerals and ourselves have spent 100?s of millions of dollars to date in the country.
