for all that it is worth. my view is that the spindoctors have decided to portray colin barnet as a man of action. in all fairness, though, for me, this has backfired. his stance on thic canal thing, has me worried - in the end, i voted informal. coling barnet, was my economics lecturer, donkey years ago - and a very pleasant person, but the last thing as to how i might describe him, would be as a man of action. this is just the spindoctors at work, and in my opinion, makes him a real phoney. ah now how about that jeff kennet guy - he was a man of action
